Homemade Low Sugar Lemonade

Ingredients:

Preparation:

1. In a medium saucepan, simmer 1 cup of water with your choice of sweetener and salt. Turn off the heat when the sweetener is completely dissolved. 

2. Zest 1 lemon into the saucepan and mix to combine. Set aside to cool and rest. 

3. Juice the lemons through a strainer or sieve into a pitcher. 

4. Add the remaining filtered water (3 cups) to the juice of the lemons. 

5. Strain the zest and sweetener mixture to add to the lemon juice. 

6. Chill in the fridge. Add ice to serve.
