Holiday Asparagus

Level up on your veggie game! It’s always good to add vegetables to your holiday table for a light, refreshing dish. This one is a crowd-pleaser. Asparagus paired with pomegranate seeds packs a punchy flavor. The zest and earthy flavors that arise when these two ingredients are joined together is savory and full-flavored.

Preparation:

1. Cut stems off of the asparagus. Clean and dry thoroughly.

2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

3. Place asparagus in a deep baking dish and season with olive oil, garlic, spices and herbs.

4. Cook asparagus for 25 minutes or until tender.

5. Top asparagus with pomegranate seeds and chopped almonds.
